News for January 23th - January 27th:
History 8E and 8W: I am covering the Great Depression. There will be a test next week after midterm exams. The history midterm exam will be on Thursday. I passed out a study sheet last week.
Geography 8E and 8W: Students will be writing a paper on various Caribbean islands.
Geography 7N and 7S: Students will be doing a map of Africa. It will be due next week.
Language Arts 8W: I am covering various poetry styles. Sample poetry from students will be handed in and graded. I will be covering the active and passive voice next. There will be a test next week. The English exam will be Friday the 27th. It will be based on grammar from the first and second marking periods.
Social Studies 6E: I assigned a project on either Ancient China or Ancient Greece. It will be due on February 6th. I am covering the geography of Greece also. I passed out a study sheet for the social studies midterm last week.
Religion 8W: I am covering chapter 10. There will be a quiz next week. I gave students a midterm exam from last year to study from. I will change it though. The religion midterm exam will be on Friday.
